He is survived by his daughter, Marlene Webb and husband Kenneth of Stafford; two sons, Jerry Dotson Jr. and wife Monica of Stafford and Christopher Dotson and wife Kelly of Lewisville, Texas; three grandchildren, Kenneth Webb Jr., and Izabella and Donovan Dotson; and one stepgrandson, Cameron Young, all of Stafford; one brother, Avery Dotson and wife Darlene of Mathias, W.Va.; three sisters, Barbara Woolfrey and husband Cliff of Stafford, Retta Ladd and husband John of Stafford and Roxann Woolfrey and husband Cliff of Glasgow; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Dotson; his parents, Wayland and Pina Dotson; and two brothers, Aaron and Thurman Dotson.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, with the family receiving friends two hours prior to the service. Pastor James Weadon will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
