He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Martha, of Kissimmee, Florida; his daughter, Deborah Buttridge and husband James of Seaford, DE; his son, Francis DeGaray and wife Amber of Warrenton, VA; grandchildren, Rebecca, Emma, Elizabeth, Ethan, Claire, Owen and Tyler; brothers, Francis, Thomas, Stephen, Gerard, Michael and Timothy; sisters, Anne O’Keefe, Mary Ronsoni, Veronica Barresi, and Regina Cooper.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Vincent DeGaray.
John was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a Physician’s Assistant at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday, March 29 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service 186 Shelton Shop Road Stafford, VA. 22554. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
