It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Allen Perry, a devoted partner and father, cherished friend, passionate outdoorsman, and master taxidermist, who left us on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the age of 69.
Born on November 19, 1955 in Fredericksburg, VA, Keith lived a life filled with adventure, loyalty, and love. He was a man of deep character, quiet strength, and a fierce dedication to the people and passions that mattered most to him.
An avid hunter, Keith found peace and purpose in the woods. The quiet rustle of the trees, the early morning stillness, the thrill of the pursuit—these were the moments where he felt most at home.
His passion for hunting led naturally to his artistry in taxidermy. With steady hands and a patient eye, he preserved not just animals but memories—each mount a story, a moment frozen in time. His work graces the walls of many, a testament to his skill and dedication.
Keith is survived by his wife, Alisa Kennedy; his son, Chad Perry (Shelly); his daughter, Chelsea Odham (Cory); his brother, Ron Perry (Miggy); his two sisters, Carolyn Comer (Keith) and Nancy Glazebrook (Mark).
He is also survived by his sons, Shaun Kennedy (Keirsten) and Michael Kennedy (Charlotte); his 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandy, Emma, Caden, Isla, Noah, Cole, and Roy and lastly his two great-granddaughters, Bella and Daisy. All who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you honor Keith in a way he would’ve truly appreciated—by doing something meaningful for yourself and others. Buy that item you’ve been putting off, take that trip, start that project, or spend a quiet moment in nature in honor of his love for the great outdoors. Celebrate his memory by living fully and doing something that brings you joy.
He lived with purpose, loved with depth, and left the world better than he found it. He will be missed more than words can say.
