

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kimberly Sue Humphries, age 57, on March 10, 2024, in Stafford, VA., after a valiant 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on March 13, 1966, in Fredericksburg, VA, to the late Ruby (Williams) Humphries and Carroll Humphries, Jr., and was raised in Triangle, VA, where she lived throughout her life
Kim loved her family dearly, and they cherished her. She was a kind, thoughtful, loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt and niece. She dedicated 28 years of her career as a Special Needs Paraprofessional at Graham Park Middle School before retiring.
In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her sons, Steven Humphries and Scottie Humphries; brother-in-love, Kevin Curtis, Sr.; and grandmother, Fannie Pearson.
Kim will be deeply missed and remembered by her son, Joseph Humphries; sisters, Barbara Brewer (Werner), Lynn Curtis, Lisa Weaver (Dave), Kristi Nixon (Steve); brothers, Mike Humphries (Cindy), Kevin Humphries (Michelle); partner, Eddie Mosley; daughter-in-love, Brianna Humphries, and aunts, Doris Crider and Pearl Clark (Charles).
She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, LisaMarie Rivera (Rob), Angela Weaver, Sydney Tillery (Dakotah), Katelynn Hicks (Colby), Haylee Humphries, Taylor Humphries, Kaelyn Speight (Caleb), Maci Jo Nixon; nephews, Todd Brewer (Leanne), Bryan Curtis (Jess), Jeremy Curtis (April), Kevin Curtis, Jr., Nick Curtis, Michael Humphries, David Weaver (Jenn), Tim Weaver, and 25 great-nieces and nephews, who Kim loved and adored.
A Celebration of Life for Kim will be held at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, 200 Onville Road, Stafford, VA 22556 on April 13, 2024 at 3:00 PM.
Kim remained faithful throughout her cancer battle. Although she is already missed tremendously, we take comfort in knowing that she is in her heavenly home, reunited with her loved ones who went before, and in the presence of Jesus, her Lord and Savior.
