Marcia Rhea Blair

Marcia Rae Blair, 71, died November 6 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. Marcia worked at E.E. Wine, as a Manager of a local convenient store. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, and camping in the great outdoors. She was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling. She had a deep sense of selflessness and responsibility for others. She had an innate ability to reach out to those in need. She pushed herself physically and mentally to provide for her family without complaint.

Born July 6th, 1953 in the Village of Potsdam, NY, daughter of Mary J. Webster and Jerome Edward Rose. She attended Potsdam Schools.

She married Peter Blair at the Daily Ridge Church in Madrid, NY in 1977. Soon after they moved to Virginia in 1977.

Surviving besides her husband are one son and one daughter, and their husbands and wives, Peter Harold Blair, Jr. and April, Stafford, VA., and Sheena Lynn Walter and Paul, Stafford, Va., and three daughters, Angela Holcomb, South Carolina and Kim Blair, New York, Nola Duncan, Maryland and a sister Grace Ellen Vesper, Lisbon, NY, Edward Jermone Rose and Lori, Glens Falls, NY, Jeffrey Allen Rose and Jana, Stafford, Va, Regina Marie Randall, Potsdam, NY, and Robert Dale Rose and Fay, Stafford, Va. She is survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, by many nieces and nephews, and a lot of extended family, friends that she called family.

She is predeceased by her brother Michael David Rose, Potsdam, NY.
