

She was born in Washington, D.C. on June 26, 1941 to the late Catherine and Woodrow George.
Martha was raised in Junior, West Virginia until the age of 14 when her family moved to Alexandria, Virginia. Martha attended G.W. High School where she met the love of her life, Vic. They married in 1958 and moved to Woodbridge, Virginia where she became involved in the Marumsco Woods Association organizing numerous parades. She worked in the Rippon School Cafeteria and as a Prince William County Crossing Guard. Martha was always supportive and involved in her children’s activities that included girls’ basketball and stock car racing at Old Dominion Speedway. Watching two diabetic sons deal with daily struggles and complications of the disease, she researched and published a book “Our Diabetic Sons”. Martha was an exemplary woman loved so much by friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Victor Ray Tuck; four children, David Tuck, Vicky Schwenger, Laura Baker and Douglas Tuck; two brothers, Woodrow George of Stafford, VA. and Jeffrey George of Culpeper, VA; one sister, Cathy Ramey of Stafford, VA; six grandchildren, Michael Remsberg, Jennifer Tuck-Brenkert, Jessica Tuck-Thomas, Leah Schwenger, Cari Schwenger, Melissa Tuck; and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, December 13th at Mullins & Thomas Funeral Service 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, VA 22554, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14th. Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park.
