Mary Theresa Edwards

Mary Theresa (Brown) Edwards, born August 24, 1955, to the late Joseph N. Brown and the late Gloria T. Brown. Mary lived in Washington D.C most of her life. She was educated in the DC Public Schools. She later moved to Virginia where she worked for Inova Fairfax Hospital for many years. On June 6, 2021, Mary (Bobbie) transition to be with the Lord at 4:21pm. Sunday evening with family by her side when she passed. She was battling cancer for a long period of time, undergoing extensive treatment. She was a trooper to the very end: then God called her home. She leaves to cherish her husband William Edwards, children, Torrance A. Brown, Giovanni Mann, Karron Cain, Deidre Adams, LaKesha Atkins. Six grandkids Mary Daily (others can’t name),? Great grands Two sisters, Deborah Wooten (Milton), Patricia Smith (late Ronald), Three brothers Joseph N. Brown, Emanuel Brown and Wesley Brown. And hose of niece and nephews, cousins and a hose of friends. Those preceding her in death is as follows: Mother Gloria Brown, daughter LaShawn Brown, and Father Joseph Brown. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00pm Tuesday, July 22, 2021 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford where Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm.
