Born on December 5, 1953, in Arlington, Washington, Nancy lived a life rooted in faith, kindness, strength, and an unwavering love for others. Her faith in Jesus guided her daily life and shaped the way she cared for those around her.
Nancy worked various jobs throughout her life, but she especially cherished the time spent working alongside her sister at Midway Grocery in Leavenworth, Washington. She was known as a hard worker with a servant’s heart—always willing to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or help in any way she could.
She found great joy in the simple moments of life, particularly time spent with family and friends. Nancy loved gardening, decorating, and staying actively involved in the lives of her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Jones; her parents, Waldo and Helen Evans; and her sister, Kathleen Lester.
She is survived by her children, Michelle (Charles) Kocher, Michael (Rebecca) Jones, and Tanya (Stef) Daniel; her six granddaughters, Nikkole Jones, Karlyn Kocher, Kathleen Kocher, Arianna Jones, Makayla Jones, and Isabella Jones; her sister and brother, Gayle Evans and Thomas Evans.
