

Sergeant Natasia “Redd” Chanai Hines of Stafford Virginia passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023.
Born on May 26th,1987, Natasia “Redd” Chanai Hines was a loving parent and a resilient single mother who with the support of her mother was able to provide for her children by actively serving in the United States Army.
Natasia’s nurturing spirit, and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of her resilient 16-year-old son Elias & her intuitive 5-year-old daughter Evon. Natasia was a devoted mother who dedicated her life to providing love, guidance and unwavering support to her beloved children. Her dedication and commitment to motherhood, and family define her, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
She was so passionate about the gift of life, that she selflessly made the decision to donate her organs ensuring her legacy will live. Through that generous decision, Natasia will touch countless others, as the family members, friends and communities of those who receive her donated organs will be forever impacted by their improved quality of life made possible through these selfless gifts.
Natasia is survived by her parents, Sterling Collins and Jovonna Collins; and her natural parents, Quentin Thornton, and Sharon Hines; her cherished children, Elias, and Evon Hines; her siblings, Sterling Collins II, Elisha Lindsey, Rhaheim Hines, Auntoneo Hines, Rhameika Clark, Aysia Hines, Shawn Durham, Shaquasia Thornton, Quentasia Thornton and Quentin Thornton Jr,; her Grandparents, Charles and Shirley Hines and Shallie Scott; a devoted partner, Davion Burroughs and a host of Aunts, Uncles, family and friends.
Natasia’s legacy of love and resilience will live on in the hearts of family and friends.
Burial will take place at Quantico National Cemetery on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 2:00pm.
