Nora Sue Baird

Born on October 23 1950, in Quinnimont WV, Sue was the daughter of Bill and Lois Small. She was married to Lewis Baird in 1968 and together they raised three children.

Sue retired as a bus driver from Prince William County after 40 years of service.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lewis Baird; her sons, Denny Baird and Lenny Baird (Jaclyn); her 9 grandchildren, and her 5 great grandchildren.

Nora will also be greatly missed by her sisters, Connie Johnson (Norman), Cathy Marion (Rocky) and Helen Sutton; and her brothers, Kenny Small (Julie), and Marshall Small (Jayne).

She was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Baird; her parents, Bill and Lois Small; her sister, Linda Taylor, and her brother, Bo Small.

Sue was the heart of her family—strong, nurturing, and endlessly supportive. She will be remembered for her courage, her deep love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and her unwavering dedication to those around her.

Nora's visitation will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 2:00pm-3:00pm with her Celebration of Life starting at 3:00pm.
