Mr. Rice was born in Maryland on December 12, 1947 to Marvin and Mary Rice.
Mr. Rice was the owner of American Air Services Inc., in Woodbridge Va.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Maureen.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Berry of Stafford and two sons, Sean Rice of Centreville, Va. and Ralph D. Rice Jr. of Locust Grove, Va. he is also survived by six grandchildren, Cody Rice, Brandon Hillegass, Zeta Berry, Dennis Berry, Liam Rice and Angela Berry.
The family will receive friends on Saturday March 3, 2012 from 7-9 PM for a Visitation and memorial service at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service Stafford Chapel 186 Shelton Shop Rd.
