He was born January 16, 1960, in Woodstock, Illinois, a son of Thomas Arthur Whiting and Norma Jean Moore Whiting.
Mr. Whiting was a self employed carpenter/handyman most of his life, but did work for the Illinois oil fields in his earlier years.
He is survived by his Mother Norma Jean Whiting of Stafford, Virginia; five brothers Thomas Arthur Wright and wife Ruth of Stafford, Virginia; John Wayne Whiting and wife Sandra of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Steven Ray Whiting and wife Eva of Lakeland, Florida; Kelly Gene Whiting and wife Sonja of Ina, Illinois; Terry Lynn Whiting of Stafford, Virginia; One Sister Jodi Marie Schuster and husband Stephen of Dahlgren, Illinois. He also had several Nieces, Nephews, and three Great Nephews.
He was preceded in death by one Brother Roger Curtis Whiting; one Sister Rhonda Lee Whiting; Grandparents Virgil and Marie Moore and Arthur and Josephine Whiting; and one Nephew Justin Dane Wright.
Burial will be at I.O.O.F. (Odd Fellows) Cemetery in Dahlgren, Illinois at a later date.
