Sharon Ann Kochel

Sharon Ann Dempsey Kochel, age 71, of Stafford, VA passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 at her residence. She was born on September 19, 1949 in Johnstown, PA the daughter of the late Perry Thomas and Margaret Ann (Leckey) Dempsey. She served as a Teacher’s Aide for Stafford County Schools for 8 years. Sharon was an avid camper and enjoyed meeting new friends at Pa Dutch Campgrounds in Pennsylvania. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose Franconia Chapter for over thirty years. She was preceded in death by two children, Dennis Dale Kochel and Timothy Kochel; a sister, Mabel Dempsey; two brothers, James Dempsey and Perry Dempsey. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Donald W. Kochel; three children, Dennis Daine Kochel, Joshua Lee Kochel, Kenneth Kochel; four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, February 12, 2021 at the funeral home with Father Lino Rico Rostro officiating. Interment will follow at Stafford Memorial Park.
