I was in basic training when this happened . To get a call during a hard time in my life didn’t seem to be right but I know that Your in a great place because Great people are able to walk through heavens gates and know he or she is home I thank you for helping me when I needed it and being my brother . Until we meet again I love you ❤️ 

I want to start by giving my condolences to the family, I can’t even imagine what you all could be going through, my deepest prayers and sympathies go to the family. I know I’m late, but I just found out today what happened and I’m speechless.

Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have speak about a friend in past tense, but I find myself doing it again.  Mikey and I were not the closest of friends, but there was nothing but respect when I saw him, he was a great athlete, a great person, but most of all a spectacular friend, it really hurts my heart again to have to say goodbye to another great person.

First I want to send my condolences to sutthiphong’s family. I met Mikey when I first moved to bamberg, since then I’ve never lost contact with him. He was outgoing, funny, caring & loved his family more than anything. If you needed anything you can always count on Mikey to be there for you, that’s what I loved the most about him. He shared his heart with the world and now he will never be forgotten he has left a little part of him in everyone he has met. Over the years of knowing him I was so proud of how much he has grown. My heart is so sore from this loss, but I know we will one day meet again. My first love, my friend. Rest in heaven I love you & and the rest of the family.

When I first heard the news, I was shocked beyond belief that something so tragic could hit so close to home. No matter how many times we are told otherwise growing up, we still have this idea that we are invincible. Bad things just don’t happen to us or our friends; we’re too young. False. Tragedy can and does hit us in the blink of an eye, and it usually seems to target the friend we would least expect. Mikey was so full of life and is loved by so many.
Mikey meant the world to my family especially my girls, they thought he was the coolest guy. He was there for them whether it was taking them to job interviews or taking them to the mall just to hang out. He would come over and we could talk about any and everything, he always made us laugh. 
We make a lot of friends throughout our lives. But only a few ever become close to us. Some we lose touch with, while others take up different paths in their lives. In the end, there are only a few friends we can call our own.
Everyone leaves footprints in your memory, but the ones that leave footprints in your heart are the ones you will truly remember that someone is Mikey, gone but never forgotten. Until we meet again…..

I cannot believe this . I've known Mikey a few years back and was excited to have my first male Thai friend.. even though we lived states apart , we kept in contact . He was always so nice and friendly . Sleep peacefully Mikey... prayers and condolences to the family . 

I remember meeting Mikey junior year in math class. Right off the back he became friends with everybody. It was as if he had been there with us since fresh man year. He had the best sense of humor and could make you laugh even when you didn’t want to. You could call his name and he would turn around and say What with a smile on his face.To have know Mikey was to love him. Mikey was an amazing person who was willing to help anybody in need. I am so sorry for your loss. 

You’ll always be in my heart brother.  I wish I could’ve seen you one last time. It was great catching up with you on Facebook. I haven’t heard from you in years before that. You definitely had a good head on your shoulders. Even at one point when we had a slight incident, you stepped up and apologized first. I respected that tremendously. I’ll miss you forever man. I just pray that you’re watching over us brother. Save  a spot for me in Heaven.  I hope to see you again.

Our family loved Mikey very much. He was an amazing young man and captured our hearts from the very first time we met him. He was always so respectful, loving and funny. My husband, Jared and I enjoyed having conversations with him very much as he was always so engaging. He was a great best friend to Marquel and big brother to Shanelle. Watching our boys play football was one of the many highlights of my time in Germany. I know Mikey, Marquel and the rest of the boys might have been up to no good sometimes running the streets of our little post in Bamberg but I’m so thankful that we were a part of his path in life.  

He will forever be in our hearts!

Mikey, it is hard to believe that you have departed this world & onto a new journey elsewhere.  Whenever it may be, I know you are lighting up every corner of that place.  Your smile is contagious.  You lived life to the fullest. What  I remember was the little boy I first met in Bamberg, Germany.  Then we met again after 5 years & you were all grown.  Your mom did a great job in raising you & your brothers to become gentlemen.  You were mature for your age.  You are loved by so many & have touched so many lives.  Spread your wings & fly with the Angels.  Watch over your mom, dad, brothers & your extended family & friends.  Until we met again, rest in paradise. 

Mikey, wherever you are, I hope you know that you are truly missed and loved by so many. I’m sorry we lost touch... sometimes, we always just assume there’s going to be a next time. I want you to know that you will  always have a place in my heart. No matter what, I will hold on to the good times. You and your brother were the very first people I have met in Germany.. from hanging out at night in the balcony to chillin at the park, the gazebo to watching you and your brother play soccer and more...no words to describe how good and funny of a person you were.. Every time I’d see you, you just always had such a beautiful smile on your face. Everyone knows, you’d brighten up the darkest day.. Always laughed,  Always had jokes... even tho some were so corny that you had no choice but to laugh at your own jokes lol! I loved the fact that even though we didn’t talk for a few months, years, you always tried to reach out.. I wish I had more time to talk to you, to see you again. I’m sorry. Unfortunately, life is so unexpected.. I still have a knot in my stomach. It’s still hard to believe that you are gone. I’m grateful for the time we’ve spent and the friendship we shared. Thank you for being the person you were and for being the person that impacted so many lives. You will always be remembered. I’ll always pray for your family. Please continue to watch over us. Mikey, I’ll never forget the friendship we shared and all the laughs you created for all of our close friends. I wish there were a way to let you know that we all miss you and you’re so loved. Rest in paradise. 

Mikey was my first friend in Germany. Before I even went to Germany he messaged me to make sure I had a friend waiting for me once I would get there. The moment I landed and got to the house he came to get me and show me around. Through out the whole summer he would hang out and introduce me to different people.  That just showed what kind of heart he had a humble one. He was always willing to make anyone smile or laugh. He was there through one of my toughest school year. And for that I always have love for him. Though we drifted apart because of moving I’ll always cherish those years I had him in my life. 

Mikey was a person I looked up to for the longest. I wanted to be just like him, well the female version anyways. I was always in ah of how brave, kind, and fearless he was. He loves to see people smile and laugh, but what he didn’t know was, it was really his smile or laugh that brought everybody joy. He was the true definition of a big brother to me l, and what I would miss most about him is having him around to talk to, pick me up when I’m down, give me a big hug when we see each other, and him judging me because I didn’t make Pho the proper way (even though I bought it). I hope to see you again some day Sutthiphong!! You are and have always been our angel!!

Since the first time I met you boys I knew that we would become family. So many memories we all had together but I cherish all the times we were all together eating at your house, playing video games and the nights Mikey and I would be out at the park and just talk about life. You have impacted so many peoples lives with the amazing personality you carried. When you moved to Wiesbaden, Germany  when we were just kids you became part of a family. Being a military brat allowed us to meet, bond and become good friends even if it was only a few years. As kids, the memories we create stay with us even when we grow older, and you have given me and so many others memories we will never forget. Therefore, you will always be remembered, always in our hearts, forever in our minds.

Oh Mikey I'm going to miss you so much... going to miss when you would tell me stories about old times when you and IQ were kids, you'd have me laughing so much. I remember the first time I met Mikey. I had JUST moved back with my mom in Bamberg, Germany and there was a knock at the door. I thought it would be my friend from the last time I had visited.. but it was Mikey. I didn’t know him I had only heard of him because he was friends with my friends. He invited me to Airplane Park with him and everyone else. I was skeptical about it because I had no idea who Mikey was, but it was one of the greatest decisions I made because it led to a ton of memories and fun times with Mikey that I will never forget. My family LOVED Mikey, especially my mom. She ALWAYS talked about how great of a kid he was and how funny he was. Our door was always open to Mikey and his brother IQ. We will never forget you Mikey, it’s truly impossible to, and we will always love you! 

Mikey always hung out with me on the sidelines when he wasn't on the field playing. Funny and the sweetest guy!! Always had a smile on his face and that will be missed so much!

Mikey, my little brother, was such a great and lively kid. We spent a lot of time together as brothers and created a special bond between us. There are lots of memories I would want to share of us but I choose to only pick the most memorable one which was when Mikey was 8 or 9 years old and I was 10 or 11 living in Wiesbaden, Germany. We were so creative and adventurous! We would go camping in our basement. Setting up two cots connecting them to make one big bed. Mikey was always the one afraid of the dark so he would always cuddle with me in the middle of the night. We set up our cots and brought a small tv down to the basement along with our Nintendo GameCube. We would play our video games all night undisturbed talking to each other about our future and what we would want to be when we grew up. This memory of us I will always cherish because this is the memory I will always think of when I think of Mikey. I love you baby brother. You are the prime example of why life is so short and unexpected. Make sure that we live our lives and connect with those you love before it's too late. You always saw the positive side of things and taught me a lot throughout my journey. 

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of such a wonderful life. He never failed to make the good times even more memorable. I wish his loved ones peace in such a tragic time. The unexpected event actually reminds me of just how unexpected he could be. It's a terrible thing that happened though, I will always remember the times we had as children not long enough ago. I don't have any photos of my favorite memory with Mikey it was a time he appeared uninvited but still.welcomed to camp at a little park at the end of my street in new housing of Bamberg. Its a wonderful memory with Mikey.
