Born January 8, 1937 in Washington County Virginia, Ted served in the United States Army, receiving both Marksman and Good conduct Medals before ending his tour in 1963. He was employed as a meat cutter for Giant Food for many years until his retiring.
Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Edna Walls and his stepchildren Benjamin Hart and Cindy Hart Taylor as well as grandchildren, Kailey, Dustin, Dylan and Skyler Hart. He also leaves behind three sisters, Helen Reigle,Vivian Blevins, Virginia Blackburn and many nieces and nephews.
Ted will be remembered for his quick wit, fiery personality, solid dependability and infectious grin. He had a hugh love for animals and had many beloved pets through the years. He and his wife created a cat and dog haven at their home that brought them much comfort and joy.
Ted will be laid to rest in Stafford Memorial Park per his wishes.
