He was born on November 12, 1962, in Alexandria, VA to Oscar Sexton and Virginia Lee (Lowman) Sears. Timmy lived his whole life in Stafford, VA. He learned construction at Stafford High School and through his mentors learned the trade he would do throughout his lifetime. He started his own business at age 23. He spent his later years working with his best friend who was like a brother to him, Dave Powell.
Predeceased by his mother Virginia Lee Sears; two sons: Timothy Wayne Sears, Jr. and Timothy Wayne Sears III; one brother, Gary Lee Sears; and one sister, Dona Kay Sears Doyle.
Survivors include his father, Oscar Sexton Sears; daughter, Amanda Lee Sears and husband Ryan Henley; brother, Michael O. Sears; two sisters: Sharon M Bailey and Lori A. Vella and husband Stephen; 3 grandchildren; one great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Timothy’s life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Services, 186 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford, VA 22554.
