Mom, grandma and moma Jean was a beautiful example of compassion, unconditional love and grace.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Williard G. Jett; daughter, Glenda J. Wiggins and husband Dan of Indiana; sons, John W. Jett and fiancée, Ruby Merryman of Spotsylvania, David Jett and wife Diane of Spotsylvania and Jimmy Jett and wife Gail of Wytheville, Virginia; three grandchildren, Dinah Heck of Indiana, Kristy L. Lamb and husband Justin of Richmond, Virginia and Stephen A. Jett and wife Julie of Dallas, Texas; and six great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 29th at 2:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to New Hope United Methodist Church of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
