Woodrow "Woody" Beach

He peacefully drifted into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; to live joyfully in his heavenly home on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was surrounded by family and left this earthly life knowing how deeply he was cared for and loved.

Woody will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Patty Sue Beach of 46 years; his daughters; Traci Michelle King, Cheryl Lee Stafford, Mary Lisa Rowe and Christie Ann Brown; a nephew whom was like a son to him, Gueron Elward Cowan III; his brothers; George Wesley Beach (Louise), Lloyd Andrew Beach(Tina) and Thad Allen Beach; and his sisters; Elizabeth Mary Franklin, Bessie Ann Musselman, Shirley Sue Lamb (Larry).

He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Angela D. Brooks, Norman M. Curtis, Jeffrey C. Bache, Sean M. Bache, Tonya N. Totten, Amber R. Totten, Robert G. Stafford III, Matthew W. Stafford, Lindsay F. Stafford, Kaylee A. Brown, Kristofer A. Brown, Angel G. Brown and Ashton G. Hall; his 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild as well as his extended family and an abundance of friends.

Woody was preceded in death by his parents, Elva Cooper Beach and Norman Thad Beach; a granddaughter, Ashley Gayle Totten; and a great granddaughter, Amiya Navaeh Totten.

Woody will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will always be remembered for his quick wit, sarcasm, jokes, words of wisdom, his knowledge, his love for sneaking sweets, obsession with watching wrestling, and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was always willing to help or lend a hand to those in need and provided his entire family with many years of love, guidance and protection.

A visitation and burial service will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford Chapel, on Thursday, October 28, 2021. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM followed by the service at 12:00PM.
