Carolyn Eaddy was born May 26, 1950 to Walter and Mattie Eaddy of Donora, PA. At a very young age, it was discovered that Carolyn suffered from rheumatic fever and heart issues which required hospitalization in Valencia, PA, near Pittsburgh for about two years. The heart defect required Carolyn to take medication until she became an adult. She lived with her family in Donora, PA until they moved to Norwalk, CT in 1962. Carolyn was educated in the Norwalk School system and had a robust childhood surrounded by her siblings, her close Pennsylvania cousins who spent their summers working in Connecticut and her Norwalk-based family and friends, especially her "forever friend" Sandi Hendricks-Bigelow.
Carolyn's birth sign was Gemini which she fully embraced. She was truly a free-spirit and lived life to the fullest. Carolyn resided in New York City, in lower Manhattan for most of her adult life, and traveled extensively. Now she's headed up yonder to travel with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in heaven.
Carolyn leaves to cherish a daughter, Nicolé L. Eaddy of Norwalk, CT, two sisters, JoAnn Dudley of Duquesne, PA and Arlene Eaddy of Norwalk, CT, a brother, David Eaddy of Chicago, IL, a niece, Jocelyn Dudley of PA, a grandson, Gregory Lammar Cash of FL and a granddaughter, Chyanne Thorne of CT, three great grandchildren and a host of loving cousins, friends and neighbors. Carolyn was predeceased by her father, Walter J. Eaddy, her brother, Robert J. Eaddy and her mother, Mattie L. Eaddy. Carolyn also leaves to cherish a long-time companion-friend and caregiver William Cioffero of NY.
