Cezary Bartosiewicz

He was born in Bialystok, Poland, to Tadeusz and Mieczylsawa. He emigrated to the United States through Greece in 1987. Soon after he started his own construction company J&C Renovations through which he made lifelong friends and touched and enriched countless lives.

He was an avid athlete who loved all sports but none rivaled his passion for soccer. He never missed Jaga (Jagielonia Bialystok) game on TV but Liverpool FC always held a special place in his heart. He beamed with joy when he was able to see either of those teams play in person. He was a passionate soccer player on the Olympia Stamford team where the bonds and friendships he formed were never broken. When his legs could no longer compete with those of 20 year-olds, he coached, managed, mentored and invested himself to the team bridging generational gaps.

He had been a member of Holy Name Church in Stamford where he took his marital vows and baptized his sons. He was very excited to have secured his bid on the Church’s roof project and was looking forward to starting that soon.

He will be remembered for his selfless heart, his ability to laugh at himself and his “don’t worry, be happy” attitude while carrying himself with commanding confidence and strength. His infectious and very unique laughter filled every room and brought sunshine on the rainiest of days. He loved life, he loved sharing experiences and dessert with his family. He lived his life to the fullest, the best way he knew how. He was devoted to his family and to his craft, he was extremely hard working and unwavering, his “go get ‘em” attitude was unstoppable.

He is survived by his wife Iwona, his sons Patrick and Arthur, his daughter Katherine (Kasia) and graddaughter Kimi as well as his mother Mieczyslawa, sister Anna and brother Slawomir.

Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Name Church at a time to be determined due to COVID 19 restrictions.
