I just found ot about Daryl and I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I remember going to church at Union and praying Daryl was singing that day. She will be missed but God has a wonderful musical and kind angel singing in his choir. My heart and prayers are with you.

GOD is calling his angels home.  I have known Valerie and Daryl for all of our lives and her smile will live on forever. Peace to the family-she is on her next assignment.

I've known Daryl for 35 years, she's always been one of the sweetest women I have ever met, we have shared many great times hanging out at Westhill High, Yerwood center trying to party to spending a weekend in The Hamptons. Daryl and Valerie have become sisters of mine whom I will always love. Daryl, I will miss you my sister and someday will see you again. To the Lee family, please accept my deepest condolences; God must have really needed an Angel full of love. I pray for you all.

As her Physical Education teacher and softball and volleyball coach at Cloonan, I have fond memories of her dedication, team leadership and sense of humor. Before I moved from Stamford two years ago, I reconnected with Daryl at a community event. She proudly told me about her accomplishments and inspirations and I loved meeting her as an adult. I couldn't wait to get to the Youth Choir, only to have the entire gang move on to college! But I did have the opportunity to work with Daryl on stage and it was fantastic. I was deeply saddened to learn of Daryl's untimely passing.  Daryl was an amazing person who clearly exuded God's gifts of grace and love.  She was a true credit to her family.  I remember her bright, engaging smile, and her contagious laugh ringing in the halls of Westhill High School. This morning as we talked on the telephone we shared some of the good times that Daryl, you and I  had growing together attending Westhill Highschool basketball games with my Mom the late Mrs. Dorothy H. Hinton. The good times that we had going to the Yearwood Center parties, both you and Daryl attending my wedding here in North Carolina 21 years ago, and many other fond memories. My heart is very heavy and sadden at the loss of a dear friend. Daryl I will miss your smile and funny personality.
