Della Florence Walsh

She enjoyed going into NYC and spending time with her grandchildren, as well as spending time at Harvey’s Lake, PA with friends and family. She had also enjoyed sailing and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Miles, of Stamford, CT; her children: Kathleen D. Fahey of Torrington, CT; Robert D. Fahey Jr. ( Boots ) and wife Lori Canal of Norwalk, CT; and Michael W. Fahey and wife Tiare of Monroe, CT; and grandchildren: Jason, Jeffery, Jessica, Derick, Anton; Michelle and Kirsten; and Matthew, Nicole and Francis; and great grandchildren: Tyarah, Hayley, Jason Jr. and Bryson; Cameron; and Brayden. She is also survived by her younger brother, Jack Walsh and his wife Lori of Hollywood, Florida and his children Kelly and Brian; as well as children of her older brother Frank Walsh (predeceased) Kathy, Carrie and Sheila (predeceased).

The wake is on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 4p.m. – 8 p.m. at Gallaghers Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT, (203) 327-1313.

The church service is on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 2810 Long Ridge, Road, Stamford, CT.

A repast is to follow church service in the church hall for friends and family in attendance.
