2023. Born in Nuevitas, Cuba on May 23, 1928 and raised in Jamaica. She then immigrated to the USA where she later became a citizen. Etta was the daughter of Aldrich and Doris Cameron.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Robinson, daughter-in-law, Hyacinth Robinson, granddaughters, Keshia and Shakeena Robinson, sister Barbara Wood and many nieces and nephews.
Etta is predeceased by sisters, Lily Bernice, Ivy Scott, Myrtle Cameron, Gweneth Morris, ex-husband Altamont Robinson and niece Claudette Riley McLean.
She was employed at Fag Bearing, GECC Insurance, and retired from Pitney Bowes. Etta volunteered with the Red Cross and the Government Center. She was a long-standing member of Saint Andrew's Church.
Funeral services will be held at Saint Andrew's Church, 12311 Washington Blvd., Stamford, CT on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 10 am. Interment will take place at Fairfield Memorial Park on Oaklawn Avenue, following services.
