Heather Hickey

Heather Patricia Hickey, 34, known to many as ”Heddy,” passed away at Greenwich Hospital on March 19, 2012 with her loving family and boyfriend at her side. She was born in Stamford, CT on March 15, 1978 to the Honorable William F. Hickey Jr. and Grace (Morrell) Hickey. Heather was a graduate of New Canaan High School and attended New Hampshire College. She built a successful career as a Sales & Marketing executive in the cosmetics and beauty industry. Heather is survived by her beloved parents William and Grace, longtime residents of Stamford and New Canaan, CT; sister Sharon Sutton and husband Carl of San Francisco, CA; brother David Hickey of New Canaan, CT; sister Courtney Lamoin and husband Kevin of Fairfield, CT; loving boyfriend Christopher Bortot of Greenwich, CT and her loyal companion dog, Sawyer. Heather was a phenomenally strong, genuinely kind, and strikingly beautiful woman who valued life, love and family above all else. She will be remembered for her perseverance, insatiable will to live and sparkling smile. Memorial services will be held at St. Michael’s Church, 469 North Street in Greenwich, CT on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 10:00a.m. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made in Heather’s honor to The Bendheim Cancer Center, 77 Lafayette Place Greenwich, CT 06830.
