Louise H Quinn

Louise Kilian Quinn, 88 was called to the Lord peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2013. Born in Stamford, Connecticut on June 1, 1925 to Mary and George Kilian. She is predeceased by her husband, Patrick J. Quinn. Louise had six children. Patricia Q. Martinik (Stephen R. Martinik); Catherine Gail Milke; Dennis T. Quinn (Candace Quinn); Anne Q. Frojen (Richard Lloyd Frojen [deceased]); Mary Elizabeth Quinn (deceased); and Sean P. Quinn (Catherine Quinn). Louise is survived by eight grandchildren. Brian P. Martinik; Richard Andrew Frojen; Katherine A. Frojen; Colleen Quinn; Emily Quinn; Patrick Quinn; Mary Elizabeth Quinn and Shannon Marie Quinn. She is also survived by three great-grandsons, Dylan, Colby and Brady. She is survived by her sister, Ann of Stamford; and predeceased by brothers Francis, James and George. Louise was an accomplished, self-taught crocheter who made each afghan with love and attention to detail. She was a licensed nurses’ aid whose talent we witnessed through the many letters she received from the families of those she cared for. Her love of nursing was evident throughout her life. She was a devoted child of God as witnessed by those she touched. As her children we were more than blessed to call her Mother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. John’s RC Church, 1986 Post Rd., Darien, CT 06820.
