Mrs. Mary F Mix

Mary F. Mix passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer on Tuesday January 20, 2015. Born January 23, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Angelina Sagnelli Saraceno and Salvatore Saraceno. She was predeceased by her husband Lynwood Mix, her sister Rose Procaccini, and her sister Phyllis Chiappetta. She is survived by her son Joseph Tedesco of Stamford CT and his wife Cathy. Her granddaughter, Angela Tedesco and Angela’s mother Patricia Tedesco, her niece’s Sharon Mitchell and Sallyann Procaccini, her nephews Anthony Procaccini Sr.and Arthur Chiappetta Jr., She was a great aunt to four and a great great aunt to one niece and one nephew.

Mary was a hairdresser for over fifty years working many years at Universal Hair Salon in Norwalk which she founded. She was also the owner of Excelsior Hardware in Stamford CT.
