

Matthew D. Miloro entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the age of 90. Matt recently celebrated this milestone birthday with his family and friends. He was born on November 6, 1922 in Port Chester, New York to the late Angelo Miloro and Frances Gasparini. He was also predeceased by his brothers Rocco, Anthony and a sister Mary. A graduate of Port Chester High School, he served in the United States Army and was a decorated soldier from World War II. He was employed at Arnold Bakeries as a warehouse manager and retired after over 40 years of employment. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth (Lacko), son Matthew, daughter Suzanne the wife of Joseph DeFelice, two grandsons Christian and Adam, a brother Patsy and several nieces and nephews. A Stamford, Connecticut resident for the past 15 years, he was a parishioner of St. Leo's Parish. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, December 9th from 4 pm to 8 pm at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street in Stamford, Connecticut. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10th at 10 am at St. Leo's Parish in Stamford, Connecticut.
