
Ronald Cohen of Stamford passed away peacefully on February 20th. He was born on February 26, 1935, in Newark, NJ to William and Irene Cohen. His childhood years and college years were spent in New Jersey where he earned a BS in Engineering from the Newark College of Engineering, now part of Rutgers University. After graduating from college, his career took him to Pittsburgh, PA where he met his future wife Lorraine. They were married for 54 years and raised three children together. He spent 31 years of his career working for IBM. Ronald was a long time active member of Temple Sinai and its Brotherhood. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who always placed his family first. In addition to being survived by the love of his life, his wife, Lorraine, he is survived by their sons Kenneth (Sherry) of Stamford, CT and Mark (Cheryl) of Santa Monica, CA and their daughter Amy (Martin) Kindler of W. Harrison, NY; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Marlene Applebaum of Boyton Beach, FL. Funeral services will be at 10:30AM, Tuesday, February 24th at Temple Sinai of Stamford.
