Thomas Vincent Lane Jr.

Thomas Vincent Lane Jr. affectionately known to all of us as “TJ”, “Bam Exclusive” or “The Big Kahuna” was born on July 23, 1978 in Stamford, CT to Marsha Lane and the late Thomas Vincent Lane Sr. He passed away in a tragic car accident on February 22, 2016. TJ attended Stamford Public School and later received his GED. He attended Housatonic Community College and studied nursing and completed his CNA license. Thomas was current employed MTI of New Haven, CT as a construction inspector.

In addition to his mother, TJ is survived by three children, Brandon, Tomme and Talia Lane. Three brothers, Selton and Welton Harris, and Jordan Lane. Two sisters Bianca and Tamara Lane. His maternal aunts Veda (Henry) Bonaparte, Evoria (Jack) Britt, Roberta (Floyd) Laurence and Stephanie (Kevin) Johnson. His paternal aunts Cathy Whitfield, Dorothea (John) Moales, Gloria and Sheila Morgan. His paternal uncles Edward (Lynne), Franklin, Eric (Pam) and Loren Lane. 4 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 great nieces, and 1 great nephew and several other cousins and friends.

Also left to mourn is his stepmother Clara (Thurman) Owens and mentor Mrs. Sheryl Ellis. The mothers of his children Tracey, Natesha and Lidia.

Calling hours will be from 9am to 11am on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at The Unitarian Church, 20 Forest Street, Stamford, CT 06902. Funeral services will follow immediately after; Apostle Cathy Lane Whitfield officiating. Service entrusted to Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Following all services, the family will receive friends at The Elks Hall, 20 Mission Street, Stamford, CT.
