Ulysses A. Solis Jr. a resident of Stamford, CT passed away at the Stamford Hospital on Sunday October 2, 2011. He was 56. Born in Dumaguete City, Philippines on July 1, 1955 he was the oldest son of Ulysses M. Solis Sr and Lolita Alilaen Solis. Mr. Solis was a computer designer at Tischler Und Sohn. Some of his accomplishments were, he designed the King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia, Bougues designing, and two other hospitals. He also worked at John Brown in Stamford, Chemtech, and Ocean and Coastal Consultants in Trumbull.
He is survived by his wife Miriam DelMundo Solis of Stamford CT, and sons James and Kristoffer, brothers and sister Israel and wife Corazon, Jimmay and wife Evelyn, Yvette and wife Annie, Benedict and wife Gemma and Maggie Solis Kresel and husband Gregory Kresel and fifteen nephews and nieces.
Calling hours will be held at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street on Friday October 7, 2011 from 5 to 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, 403 Scofieldtown Road Stamford, CT on Saturday October 9, 2011 at 10:30 am.
Internment will be held privately.
