William B. Herman of Delray Beach FL, formerly of Stamford CT, passed away June 22, 2024, at the age of 78. Bill, as he was better known, was born in Queens, New York. From his parents Muriel and Martin Herman and as a member of Congregation Agudath Sholom in Stamford, Bill learned and embraced concern and love of community. He was a dedicated volunteer worker for the Jewish War Veterans of the USA. Bill will be remembered for his smile and outgoing personality.
Bill is survived by his 2 sisters, 2 children, 4 stepchildren, and 9 grandchildren. He was predeceased by Ellen Adelkopf Herman, his wife of 28 wonderful years together.
A graveside service will be held at Mount Ararat Cemetery in Lindenhurst, NY on Sunday July 28th at 1pm.
