Enoch is survived by four children, Steven Carpenter of Charlotte, Randall Carpenter and his wife, Julie of Alexis, Jon Carpenter of Stanley and Sherry Hill and husband, Roderick of Stanley; two grandchildren, Amy and Matthew Carpenter; sister, Mamie Morris of Mt. Holly, NC.
Enoch was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Champion Carpenter.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Holly, NC.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
