Millie Lamar Roberts Cribb

Millie Lamar Roberts Cribb, age 59, of Iron Station, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late John William Roberts, Sr. and Helen Clippard Roberts.

Mrs. Cribb is survived by her husband of 38 wonderful years, Roger Dale Cribb; daughter, Tammy Shrewsbury of Maiden; son, Shannon Dale Cribb of Gastonia; one granddaughter, Jamie Lynn “Pookie” Cribb; three grandsons, Damion Martens, Kevin and Trey Cribb; two sisters, Candy Quick and Judy James; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends, Francis Woodcock, JoAnn Mason, Tammy Frye and all of her friends at Lincolnton Dialysis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P. M. to 3:00 P. M. Wednesday at Carothers Funeral Home, 412 South Main Street, Stanley, North Carolina.

Funeral service will be 3:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Carothers Funeral Home Chapel, Stanley.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday at Cribb Cemetery, Peacock Road, Tabor City, North Carolina with Rev. Mike Lyles officiating.

Mrs. Cribb was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John William “Billy” Roberts, Jr.; two sisters, Jane Penner, Linda Moore; granddaughter, Brittany.
