Alfred Schiano, 93, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016. He was born and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, N.Y., and moved to the Sunnyside area of Staten Island in 1980. Alfred was a textile printer for over 40 years. He loved gardening and the New York Yankees and was an avid fan of wrestling. He was the beloved husband of Constance (Tuzzo), his wife of 70 years; beloved father of Phyllis and the late Peter DeCesare, Jeanette and Richard Pupello, and Brenda and Michael Carullo; loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation is at Casey Funeral Home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. at St. Teresa's R.C. Church on Victory Blvd. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
