

Alice J. Davis, 83 born and raised in West Brighton to parents Thomas Corbett and Mary Corbett, has passed away peacefully in Palm Beach Medical Center Saturday morning surrounded by her loving family.
Born Alice J Corbett, graduated from St. John’s Villa Academy. She was a secretary for a family-owned business Brown and Davis Excavators Inc. for 30 years. She loved her summer home in upstate NY, and her winter home in Palm Beach Florida.
Alice was proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed dancing, listening to Irish music and spending quality time with her family. Allie loved hosting St. Patrick’s Day gatherings that many friends and family have attended.
She was famous for her home cooked meals and was fond of watching Nascar, football and playing jeopardy along side her husband.
She was survived by her husband Theodore Davis who she was married to for 65 years. She had loving children, Ted Davis Jr. and Darren Davis, and her late children Mary Kay Paliotta and Thomas Davis. She loved spending time with all of her 12 grandchildren and late grandchild Tommy Davis.
She was one of 5 siblings, Maryanne Haggerty, Anne O’Halloran, her pre-deceased brothers Thomas “Corbie” Corbett and John “Rusty“ Corbett. Alice was a doting aunt, she loved talking to and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30 from 7-9 pm and Friday, January 31 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Harmon Funeral Home in Staten Island, NY. The funeral will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Staten Island, NY at 10:15 am on Saturday, February 1 with burial at Moravian Cemetery.
