Alice A Yorks

Alice A. Yorks, 86

Alice A. Yorks (nee Kucin) passed away in her home in Warwick, N.Y., on July 17, 2017, at the age of 86. Her husband, Robert Yorks Sr., died in 2005.

She is survived by her loving children, Ellen (Kevin) Conklin, Robert (Linda) Yorks and Vincent (Katie) Yorks, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Alice was born in Washington Heights, N.Y., and moved to Great Kills, as a young child, along with her seven siblings. She attended St. Clare School and then graduated from St. Louis Academy. Alice and Bob were married in 1957, and resided at the Yorks' family home in Annadale, where they started their family. She moved to Warwick in 2007.

She was an active member of St. Clare as a child and then Our Lady Star of the Sea, Huguenot, then St. Anthony's Church in Warwick. She had many friends throughout her life, she lived for family and was loved and admired by all.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Casey McCallum-Rice Funeral Home. Mass at St. Clare Church at 11 a.m. on Friday, 110 Nelson Ave., 10308. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery immediately following.
