Amber and I was friends in school Susan E Wagner High School I'm really gonna miss her alot . My heart goes out to her family . We rode on the same school bus . We talked all the time with other  friends I'm missed her laughter  . She is in god hands.

My memory is when we went bowling and had a good time. And we will be in the cab telling jokes she supported me when I came out.

Amber, we hope we we meet again in heaven. You are the best friend role model and a place that we sisters bad times were good and good times were bad will always be together in the Wagner crew. We will always know what you would say before we ever said it, you are a special friend and more and a leader love always the Wagner Road.

My aunt was an amazing and fun person. She taught me a lot about the world and myself, and I unintentionally picked up on most of her hobbies. She loved movies, stuffed animals, singing and making stinky fart jokes. Even when I moved far away my Auntie Amber was always rooting for me and supporting me. Growing up she was always there for everything important that happened, so it is going to be very difficult to move on without her there now. I will forever carry on my Aunt’s mentality and love for fun times.

Amber was somebody that I known from kindergarten all the way up to high school. She was always there for me when I needed her. She always told me great laughs about all her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. She also told me a story that when her father was alive, that things were not so great. She also she also said to me that graduating from high school was the best thing she ever did and going into night school was the best thing she ever did once again in her behalf I am sending this out to her. I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my dear friend Amber.  Our friendship goes back to high school 29 years ago. 
Throughout the years, we shared so many good memories.  I will always remember  Amber as a kind, generous and funny friend.  I will miss our long talks on facetime and hugs when we were together.  Our time living together at the Jefferson group home was filled fun and silly antics.  Her visit to my parents house helping to decorate for Christmas was so much fun.
Amber will always be in my heart and thoughts.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amber Nightstar, a beloved daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend. Amber left us after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the age of 45.
Amber was born on September 18, 1979, and grew up surrounded by family and friends who cherished her infectious laugh, which could light up any room. She attended Wagner High School, where she met friends who would become lifelong companions—her dear friend / sister from another mother, Julia Pierre, and Where she first met James Carr, who later became her fiancé.
Amber and James had lost touch after high school and later rekindled their friendship that blossomed in to love in 2021, he stood by her side with unwavering love and devotion, never leaving her through her final moments.
Known for her warmth and kindness, Amber made friends everywhere she went. Her vibrant personality and generous spirit were reflected in the countless lives she touched. Whether she was sharing a joke, offering a listening ear, or sharing a moment of joy, Amber’s presence was a gift to all who knew her.
Amber had a deep love for movies, especially horror films, which she could talk about for hours. She also found joy in creating TikTok videos, where she would spend hours dancing, singing, and sharing her infectious energy with the world.
Amber leaves behind her loving fiancé, James Carr; her devoted mother, Susan Black; and her siblings, Eric Wilson, Thor Nightstar, Krystal Nightstar, Jade Nightstar, Karl Nightstar, Jocelyn Nightstar, Julia Pierre and Brent Pierre. She is also survived by her cherished Pumpkins her nieces and nephews, Xavier Daniels, Aliyah Daniels, Jestina Pierre, Jasmine Pierre, Roselyn Dela-Cruz, Ruthann Candelas, RoseMae Candelas and Kheanna Faith Asoy.
Amber’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her

I only met Amber a few times in the years past, she was sweet and kind to me. We attended a retirement party for someone we both knew. I remember her smile and her graciousness. I will always keep that memory vivid. May you be at rest in that beautiful kingdom up above!
