Anthony Brancazio

Tony was born and raised in the Bronx. He joined the U.S. Navy right out of Theodore Roosevelt High School in his native borough and spent four years as a communications technician. He was stationed in Guam and Washington D.C. He had a 42-year career on Wall Street, first working with the former Bache & Co., then spending 25 years at Bear Stearns & Co. from where he retired in 2001. He enjoyed family trips, watching the financial markets on TV, watching all sports of any kind on any day of the week, especially the NY Yankees and the NY Giants, bus trips to Atlantic City, playing cards, puzzles and reading. He will be missed for his unconditional love of family, his sense of humor and laughter, and his selfless desire to help others.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife Mary, with whom he just celebrated the 60-year Diamond Anniversary of their marriage, his daughters Theresa Bartsch (John) and Deborah Behan (Rich), grandson Richard Behan and his sister Ann Kristof.

A visitation for Anthony will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 830 Delafield Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony’s memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society.
