Bob Allen Hines Sr.

Mr. Bob A. Hines, Sr. son of late James and Christine Hines, born June 4, 1938, in Scotland Memorial Hospital, Laurinburg, NC.

BOB worked about 30 years then retired from the MTA, NYC as a Bus Driver. He wore many hats...he was a Medic with NYC EMS, saving lives. He served his country Army military term abroad in Germany. He also served when needed in the Reserves. Early on he had a passion for photography. He was best known for making people laugh and playing cards.

He departed this life on December 20, 2024, at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island. He leaves behind many cherished memories, wife Connie Hines (deceased), three sons, Bob A Hines, Jr (wife Deninne); Michael Hines (deceased) (wife Michelle); and Mark Hines. Left to carry on his memories are Ina Josey, Sister, Christine Hines, Sister, Theola Hines, Sister, John Hines, Brother, Curtis Hines, Brother, and Carolyne Blackston, Sister.

Grands: Sheena, De-Janee, Ahliya, Shantese, Ebony, Denzel, Joel, Marcel, uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, and nieces; along with a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones.

“Memories are one thing death cannot steal. Death leaves a heartache only time can heal. Some may forget you now that you are gone. We will remember, no matter how long.”
