Caroline Dacunta

Caroline Dacunta was born on March 18, 1939 and passed away on June 25, 2025 at Richmond University Medical Center. Caroline Dacunta was born to the Dhirbergs in upstate New York. Caroline moved to Staten Island where she lived for over 60 years with her family. She was married to her loving husband, Daniel Dacunta Sr. who passed away in August of 2010. Caroline was the mother of three sons, Daniel Dacunta Jr., Robert Ducunta and Joseph Dacunta. Caroline was also the grandmother to Daniel Dacunta and Matthew Dacunta. Caroline was a homemaker for many years and also worked for a long time at a grocery and meat market. Caroline was very fond of pets and children and had a real talent for gaining their trust and love. Children always gravitated to Caroline. Caroline was surrounded by loving family members and she was just an all around truly good person. She will be greatly missed by her entire family.

Visitation is at Harmon Funeral Home from 2-5 PM Sunday, June 29, 2025 with the funeral mass on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at 6097 Amboy Road, St. Thomas Church. The burial will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
