He was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1949 to Charles and Mary Postler. Charles was the eldest of 6.
Charles married his wife Maryanne in 1974. Together, they have two daughters, Jennifer Murray and Michelle Maniscalco and five grandchildren, Abigail, Brayden, Claire, Hayley and Peyton.
Charles loved and took pride in his grandchildren. He especially enjoyed playing ball with his grandchildren on their self made team "the bad moon risers". Charles was also dedicated to his Catholic faith.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Postler and his brother, Kevin Postler.
He is survived by his wife, Maryanne Postler, daughters, Jennifer Murray and Michelle Maniscalco, son in law, Sean Murray, Grandchildren, Abigail Murray, Brayden Murray, Claire Murray, Hayley Maniscalco and Peyton Maniscalco. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Karas, Steven Postler, Mary Adelhelm and Eileen Postler, as well as his cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude's Childrens hospital.
