Daniel Benjamin Kaufman

Daniel Kaufman, 43 Loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all Daniel Kaufman passed away on Nov. 4, 2016, at his home in the Bronx, N.Y. Dan was born in San Jose, Calif., on Feb. 6, 1973, and grew up in Huguenot, Staten Island. He attended Tottenville High School and the College of Staten Island. He worked for several years as a paraprofessional for the NYC Department of Education. Dan loved music. He played tuba in the award- winning Tottenville High School Marching Band and later in his life played keyboard with several local bands. Dan was the beloved son of Nancy Zubrycky and Robert Kaufman; stepson of Darrin Zubrycky and Sharyn Kaufman; brother of Andrew Kaufman, brother-in-law of Marianna Kaufman, and loving uncle to Aaron and Anika. A Memorial Service will be held at the Harmon Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, from 3 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Health Action of Staten Island, (718) 808-1300.
