Born on October 13, 1948, in Staten Island, New York, David was the son of the late Isabelle O. (Bloodgood) and Robert G. Braunlich II.
He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Robert (1967) and William (2023). He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, and their children, David Jr. and Stephanie.
David spent his entire professional career as a stockbroker, working for PaineWebber and UBS before founding his own firm, DLB Securities LLC, at the New York Stock Exchange. Despite his professional success, his greatest joy and accomplishment in life was being a devoted husband and father.
In 1990, David and Susan welcomed their son, David Lonsdale Braunlich Jr. Ten years later, the family traveled to Florida, where they joyfully adopted their daughter, Stephanie, then two years old. David will be remembered for his unwavering kindness and boundless love and dedication for his family.
