I only met my great uncle a few times but he was always very friendly and nice to my brothers and I. When we were young he would dress up as Santa for us. It was a good memory. Looking back on it I realize he did have an impact on my life and left me with great memories of my childhood, and for that I am grateful.

my uncle was a great man. I always sent cards for birthday etc etc ..he came to New Mexico a few times to visit his brother frank and visit me and my family .he would play Sante  at xmas for my kids . I will aways remember uncle eddie u r loved by many ..

My memories of Great Uncle Eddie are  when he came to visit us in California.  He had an awesome laugh, positive outlook, was a prankster & making sure to include everybody. He was a funny guy, that we all will miss. ❤️

I sure will miss Uncle Ed, last time I saw him was a couple of years ago when him and my older brother was down for a visit in west Virginia. It was always great to travel with him during the summer months when school was out to visit all of our relatives. So many great memories and I hope someone has saved his photos to share with others if they wish to have them as memories of good times.
Hope all of you are having a great ime up above and enjoying your family reunion. Please give mom a big hug & a kiss for me.

Uncle Eddie's youngest sister, Ruth, was my Mom.  
  I always looked forward to his visits from NY, coming to California, to spend some time with our family. Many times he would drive his car, usually bringing other family members with him. I always looked forward to his visits, in anticipation of who and what he brought.
  My Mom loved July 4th and many times Uncle Eddie would bring her fireworks or fire crackers, as a big surprise! She would tell us she hoped he was bringing fireworks, then be surprised when he did! Such fun memories. He always brought laughter into our house and those visits were cherished! Through the years he has always remembered me with a Christmas card, finding my current addy & sending a short "catch up" note inside. A thoughtful man.
  I am so grateful I made the trip to Staten Island, 5 years ago. I stayed with Uncle Ed, reconnecting with him and Cousins I'd not seen for decades! We traveled through old family picture albums together where he shared so many memories with me, a trip I will always remember. 
  He has given so many of us wonderful memories and unselfish love. 
   Love and miss you Uncle ET, I know you have already given Mom a kiss & hug. 😘

    I'm one of Uncle Eddie's nieces. Daughter of his brother Franklin Ford Teegarden and Audrey Edna Rose. 
   Whenever Uncle Eddie visited us in NJ, he'd always have a fun little gift or a 50 cent piece for us kids.  He made Christmas and birthdays special with his quirky gifts and sweet cards.
   Uncle Eddie also had volumes of photos-family and friends. He could relate the entire history of everyone in those photos. He was a treasury of family history. I hope those are in someone's safe keeping now.
   We'll miss you, Uncle Eddie.
