Grace was born on February 26, 1953, which was her father’s 24th birthday. She was born in Brooklyn, NY where she lived up until moving to Staten Island in 2001, where she remained for the rest of her life. She was 72 years old at the time of her passing.
Grace leaves behind her domestic partner of 35 years, Anthony Quagliato, her Daughter Danett Massari, her two grandchildren, Joseph and Gabriella Massari, her step-son Nicholas Quagliato, her sister Catherine Patinella and her two dogs Angie and Yoshi.
Grace worked as a Bookkeeper for over 50 years in several industries until her retirement in 2023. She enjoyed spending time and doing things with her daughter and grandchildren, traveling from time-to-time and spoiling her two dogs.
Grace had a dark and quirky sense of humor. Most recently she had a conversation with her daughter Danett about what would happen to her knee replacement when she was cremated. Knowing it wouldn’t melt, Danett told her she would ask if we could get it back when she was cremated and display it with the urn with her ashes. This is an example of her humor!
She will be greatly missed!
