Immy was born July 10, 1931 in Scheveningen, Holland to Johannes and Lucretia Den Dulk. She lived through the Nazi occupation of Holland and witnessed its liberation. Prior to coming to America, she lived in Spain and Italy. Immy immigrated to the United States in 1962, first living in Queens and the Bronx before settling in Staten Island. First in Stapleton and then in Westerleigh. Immy was a registered nurse, last employed by Doctor’s Hospital. Her hobbies included: needle point, gardening and her beloved dogs. She became a naturalized citizen in 2012. Up until recently she was active in senior activities. Immy was a world traveler visiting all major destinations with the exception of Japan and Australia. Immy was pre-deceased by her husband Peter in 1997 and her daughter Denise McDonnell in 2013, she is survived by her son-in-law John McDonnell. Visitation will be Wednesday July 28 at the Harmon Funeral Home 571 Forest Avenue from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9pm. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery Thursday July 29, 2021
