

Mr. Bostwick was born in Buffalo, grew up in Bayonne and settled in Meiers Corners in 1957.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. A combat engineer, he saw combat in Anzio, Italy, and was stationed in Europe and North Africa.
Mr. Bostwick earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Seton Hall University, South Orange, N.J.
He worked for 30 years as a treasurer at the former Pouch Terminal, Clifton.
He enjoyed traveling and bowling weekly in the Golden Oldies league at Showplace Bowling in Travis.
Mr. Bostwick was a parishioner of St. Rita's R.C. Church, Meiers Corners.
His first wife of 50 years, the former Ada Ambrosino, died in 2000.
His second wife of 10 years, the former Florence Hogan, died in 2013.
Mr. Bostwick is survived by his son, James; his daughter, Debra Bostwick and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, with a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rita's Church. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
