Born on Staten Island and raised in West Brighton and Castleton Corners Jay was a graduate of the Hungerford School. Since 1982 Jay spent his days at Community Resources (CR) and was a cherished housemate at CR's Mariners Harbor group home since 2005. He bowled with the Colonial Pals league of the Exceptional Children' Social Club for over four decades.
Jay was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Marie Daly and his elder brother, John Kieran. He is survived by his sisters, Gina Martin of Baltimore, Md., and Felicity Daly of London, UK.
Jay will be lovingly remembered for his bright smile, warm hugs and independent spirit.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions funeral arrangements are private. A memorial celebration of Jay's life will be planned at a later date.
