Court reporter, beloved son & brother, enjoyed fishing & golfing James Emanuele Sutera, 54, passed away on December 6, 2021. James was born in Brooklyn and lived in Castleton Corners. He is survived by his parents, Emanuele and Ann Sutera, and his sister, Stella Ann Belvedere. James lived life to the fullest and in the biggest way. When the weather was warm, you could find him on a boat fishing or enjoying the water. If he wasn't there, he may have been on the golf course. In the early 90s, James became a certified shorthand reporter and eventually started his own Court Stenography firm, Eagle Reporting, which he ran successfully from 1993-2003. After court reporting, James found a passion in acting. You might even catch a glimpse of him in the background of some big-name movies. He will be missed and forever in our hearts. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Avenue. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
