Jean B. Nealon, 93, of Staten Island passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28th, 2025. Born on March 10th, 1932, in Brooklyn, she lived a long and full life marked by kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Jean married her husband Joseph G. Nealon in 1953. Together, Jean and Joseph built more than a household—they created a family rooted in love, faith, and togetherness. Having spent more than 30 years with the telephone company, Jean retired with a legacy of dedication and hard work. In retirement, she enjoyed exploring Europe with her best friend and devoted her later years to the grandchildren she adored.
In her spare time, Jean enjoyed curling up with a good book, attending church, watching her favorite shows, and cherishing time with her family. She was proudly known as the Matriarch of the Nealon family. She lived her life with grace and gratitude, and her presence was a source of comfort to everyone around her.
Jean is survived by her four children, Donald, Clifford, Valerie and Gregory; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph, and her parents.
Jean’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
